WHO WE ARE
TAF@Saghalie is an innovative, and progressive 6th-12th grade STEM-focused neighborhood public school co-managed by Federal Way Public Schools and Technology Access Foundation (TAF). At TAF@Saghalie, using the STEMbyTAF academic model, students are primed to become confident, thoughtful, and innovative leaders. They are equipped to leave the academy with the tools needed to create the future they envision, both personally and globally. TAF@Saghalie provides a rigorous and relevant learning environment rooted in project-based learning practices for today’s college and career-bound student.

FWPS middle and high school students are enrolling in CTE courses to engage in career-connected learning and earn dual credits.

WHAT WE OFFER
STEM PROGRAMS
At TAF@Saghalie, scholars are introduced to project-based STEM learning infused throughout each class, which helps them become critical thinkers and apply learning to the real-world. LEARN MORE
CTE PROGRAMS
FWPS offers Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses at select middle schools and all four comprehensive high schools. CTE courses enable scholars in grades 6-12 to explore various fields of interest, connect their learning with the real-world, and gain important skills necessary for life after high school and future careers.
CLUBS & ACTIVITIES
TAF@Saghalie scholars can participate in a wide range of clubs and activities, from drama club to middle and high school robotics.
COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS
TAF@Saghalie scholars benefit from strong relationships with local and national STEM companies, which enable them to network, build relevant skills, and take part in opportunities like internships prior to graduation.
